CONTRIBUTORS Courtney Riggle

Courtney manages the Sustainable Sourcing of Global Agricultural Raw Materials project at the Agricultural Sustainability Institute at UC Davis, and also serves as proposal coordinator for the overall institute. Courtney’s expertise includes agricultural and social policy work with hands-on training. Previously, she worked in California with the UC Small Farm Program and the World Affairs Council of Northern California, with various Central Asian countries through the USDA Cochran Fellowship Program, and in Mexico with the country’s social services ministry (SEDESOL) and research university (CIDE). While at the World Affairs Council, Courtney managed the Secretariat for the tri-national North American Forum (2005-2009). She holds an MPP from the University of Chicago and a BA in International Relations from Stanford University. Courtney grew up on a small Washington state cattle ranch.
